Meru County to benefit from over Sh2.2 billion sewerage systems

Two Meru County towns will benefit from Sh2.2 billion water projects. Speaking at Gakoromone market, Water Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui said the projects will be established in the county headquarters and Maua.

More than Sh1 billion will go towards overhauling Meru town waste water works with the compound hosting one oxidation pond and three maturation ponds being back filled and the facilities moved over 10km to a 40-acre piece of land.
