Members of Parliament from Central Kenya are now calling for full investigations into the recent violent demonstrations in the region that left scores dead and property worth millions destroyed.

Under the Mount Kenya Parliamentary Caucus, the MPs who are pro-government noted that the violence was instigated by reckless and selfish politics.
