Not yet Uhuru for Kenyan football as delegates revoke NEC’s mandate

The confusion in the Kenyan football is likely to take longer if the resolutions passed in yesterday’s Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Special General Meeting (SGM) at Sportsview Hotel Kasarani, Nairobi is anything to go by.

The meeting which was chaired by FKF Murang’a Branch chairman Robert Macharia, with 44 delegates in attendance and five absent with apology, had been called by a section of the delegates to discuss the current status of Kenyan football and chart the way forward after Fifa suspended Kenya from all football activities on February 24, citing government interference.
