I suffered from really bad acne on my forehead a few years ago, I had to get a chemical peel which thankfully helped settle that. Although my skin looked horrible for a while during the treatment from the drying and cracking at the time, the acne has never come back since.
My skin is very sensitive so I do not experiment with a lot of products enough to call it a skincare regimen but the skincare rule I adhere to is that I do not go to bed with make-up. After removing my make-up, I use the Clinique liquid facial soap before I go to bed.
