A fake tweet purpotedly posted by KTN News has been doing rounds on social media, allegedly confirming the resignation of National Super Alliance Co-Principal Musalia Mudavadi from the coalition.
Earlier in the day, a fake statement was also circulated, indicating Musalia Mudavadi had resigned as a NASA Principal and supporter of the change coalition.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances and following our night meeting that ran through to this morning without reaching a consensus, I hereby tender my resignation as NASA Principal and supporter of the change coalition," read part of the fake statement.
The general public should take note that the tweet is from a parody account and not from the official and verified KTN News (@KTNNews) account and therefore should be ignored
