Newly appointed Muhoroni Youth FC head coach Gilbert Selebwa has declared that he will use his ‘football punditry’ ideas and prediction skills to win matches.
Speaking in Muhoroni on the eve of his team’s loss 2-0 to former champions Gor Mahia FC match that was played on Saturday 5th of August, the TV football analyst was optimistic that his side won’t be a pushover this second leg and his main aim is to get Muhoroni out of relegation.
“I have confidence with my boys. They are very skillful individually and with great tactical approach we will definitely win matches.
Being a football analyst has enabled me to see different weakness in all these teams that are participating in the league. I know how to counter them for sure.” A highly charged Selebewa explained adding that the world of football in Kenya should not forget that the Moses Adagala owned side, are the current KPL top eight champions.
Gilbert Selebwa guided 13 time Kenya Premier League champions AFC Leopards back to KPL in 2009 season from Kenya’s second tier league after being relegated in 2008 where they played the Nationwide league and won their zone, though very few football followers in Kenya nor Ingwe die hards can even remember that.
