Matiangi says security operation in Baringo, Laikipia, to go on

The acting Interior Cabinet Secretary has said the ongoing security operation in parts of Laikipia and Baringo counties will not be halted as the country prepares for the August 8 elections.

Dr Fred Mating'i said the Government would not sit back and watch as criminals terrorise citizens, adding that numerous incidents of insecurity in Laikipia have affected the country's economy.
