Senator Sang might pull a surprise in the Nandi governor race

On Wednesday Nandi county senator Stephen Sang brought Kapsabet and Nandi Hills towns to a standstill in his final campaigns ahead of the Jubilee party primaries to be conducted on Friday.

This has raised the temperatures in the county's political scene with political observers now pointing out that the youthful legislator may pull a surprise against political heavyweights in the county.

Sang is running against Former ODM Chairman Henry Kosgey, Former Agriculture CS Felix Koskei, and the Incumbent Dr. Cleophas Lagat.

With his latest hyped political activities across the county, Sang has been sending signals that he might pull a surprise in the hotly contested Nandi gubernatorial race.

The Senator entered the race late last year as the most unlikely candidate but has since built himself into a formidable political force to reckon and with only a day to the polls, the county's political climate looks favorable to him.

If he wins, Sang a close ally of the Deputy President, will have managed to floor Kosgey for a second time and will most probably send the long-serving Tinderet MP to political oblivion.
