Notorious Murang'a bhang peddler nabbed

A suspected drug peddler who has been on the run was caught after he was found with bhang grown in his shamba.
The suspect was apprehended in Kanjama village in Mathioya Sub-county following a tip off from wananchi after he was spotted inspecting the crop.
Mathioya Deputy County Commissioner Charles Laboso said there was need for cooperation between the public and police.
"The community has remained vigilant but there is need for more effort to weed out criminal elements," said Mr Laboso.
