Three killed, six injured in Kisii accident

Three people were killed and six others injured in an accident along the Kisii-Eldoret road yesterday. The accident occurred at Egesa, just a kilometre from Kisii town.

 County police commander Agnes Mudamba said the victims were among the 11 passengers on board a matatu. "The survivors were taken to the Kisii Teaching and Referral and other hospitals," said Ms Mudamba.

 Mogosi Getembe, a survivor, said: "The car was not speeding, it must have been a mechanical problem or potholes."
