SECURITY: Libreville, where military police patrol streets

Wherever one goes, they always enjoy that constant assurance that everything is okay. It is during such times when you appreciate that there is no need of turning your head in fear. Quite a reassuring feeling by all means.

Having been brought up in the city, I know what security or lack of it means. Coming here, I came along with my fears. But after settling down, I have dropped that feeling unreservedly.

One thing I have found out is that both police and military officers are in constant patrol within the city. Being a foreigner and worse, not speaking French, it has been quite heavenly when I get that sense of security and confidence while walking around this coastal town of Libreville.
