Pauline,
a Safaricom shop customer attendant Nakuru branch, was overwhelmed yesterday
when National Council of People Living with Disabilities officials visited her
at her working place.
Tears
of joy rolled as they wet her cheeks when the officials congratulated and awarded
her for her kind heart.
Humility
can make someone move over mountains in life. Safaricom Company has also
assured for award in terms of job promotion.
On
Tuesday, Pauline attended to a person with disability on a respectable manner
as she knelt down before him. One could think that she was too stupid to kneel
before the beggar as they call them but to Pauline, the man was equal as the
other customers and disability isn't a rejection or inability.
OVER
VIEW.
Most
of weights in the world, hate, humiliate, abuse, spite and others even beat the
disable brothers and sisters on the streets begging for aid. This isn't what
human beings should be doing. Everyone has his own problems yes, if she or he
asks for help and you don't have, why can’t you respond to her or him
positively and in a respectable manner than hate and in anger?
At
times, people doing small business in town have been complaining of people with
disability distracting their business when they come and ask for assistance
from their customers. They have taken another step by chasing them away.
Is this what we call peace, love and unity? NO. We should emulate Pauline and make this state glitter of love.
