In
the next few days the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education will commence.
Actually, it will be the second national examination year under the helm of the
no non sense Dr. Fred Matiang’i. This will be a culmination of the candidates
four years of toil and hard work. Undoubtedly, this is always a period of mixed
emotions, both positive and negative even to the most brilliant students.
Positive because you are soon getting out of that prison like life
where you have been a slave of the bell and simply your movements have been
under high surveillance by teachers. Negative because you are soon parting ways
with the bunch of friends you have made over time. Luckily the world has been
made small thanks to modern technology.
