Students
in universities across the country have been involved in a number of riots over
a number of issues. Most pressing issues that provoke the riots are shared by
almost all students in the universities.
The
most recent incident is when Kisii University students went on rampage and the
main campus shut down after their management introduced a new system of fee
payment. The students seemed to have not welcomed the move in which they
claimed was imposed on them without prior consultations.
