Arson attacks in schools now seem a perennial trend, especially in June and July. At least in every 10 to 14 days around this period, fire incidents are reported in our schools.
Undoubtedly, there is more to this trend. It points to a rooted ill that needs serious approach to contain. This indictment cannot be addressed through interdiction, victimisation and other knee-jerk reactions like we usually witness when these incidents happen.
