Uhuru should grant the Wagalla massacre victims justice

The Wagalla Massacre is regarded as the worst human violation in Kenya’s history to be done by Kenya’s soldiers on its own people. Girls and women were raped, children orphaned, and an estimated 5000 lives lost.

His Excellency the President recently visited the North Eastern region and he didn’t miss to talk about the issue. He bluntly told the residents to forget and move on. Thus I beg to disagree with this phrase. He exonerated his deputy and himself from the atrocities and said they shouldn’t be held responsible for the same.
