A Nairobi court has reinstated the security of Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire.

The MP's bodyguard was withdrawn days after he was reprimanded by President Uhuru Kenyatta for refusing to stand up in the House in honour of troops who had died in the line of fire.

Yesterday, the head of security deployment Lawrence Kisyungu honored court summons and explained that Samwel Kinyanjui was the MP's new bodyguard. Justice Isaac Lenaola had earlier summoned the officer.
