National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi is set to decide an MP's fate following his involvement in chaos in the House.

Muturi will either today or tomorrow issue a ruling in the House that will determine whether Ruaraka MP Tom Kajwang' will continue serving on the Speaker's panel.

This came after Ali Wario (Bura) complained that Kajwang' breached House rules and lost moral authority to sit on the panel on March 31 when he appeared among a group of ODM MPs, who whistled and disrupted President Kenyatta's State of the Nation address.

"Parliament has rules, traditions and practices. Our children will be parliamentarians. Is it alright for a member of the Speaker's Panel to lead protests inside the House? If it is alright and he takes the chair, will I also be right to come with a whistle and blow it while he is presiding?" posed Wario.

The panel is a powerful club of up to five MPs who help the speaker and his deputy with presiding over House sittings whenever the two are unavailable.
