Towards the end of 2003, the Kenya football scene was abuzz as Harambee Stars edged closer to qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

When they finally beat Cape Verde 1-0 to qualify for the 2004 edition held in Tunisia, local fans were over the moon. The mood may not be the same this time around, but local fans are still on the edge of their seats as the national women team, Harambee Starlets, take on Algeria in the return leg of the final round of Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers.
