EACC opens branch, defends its record

Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has opened a branch in Kilifi and is set to establish another in Malindi as it dismissed claims that it is controlled by cartels bent to subvert war on corruption.

EACC Deputy CEO Michael Mubea, opened the Kilifi branch on Thursday as part of week-long activities in the county. He announced that the commission will publish a survey of corruption trends and prevalence in the 47 counties in November.
