Or am I trying to please men?” If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. You were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body.

For he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality. We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. Why do you call Him, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what He says? In his name the nations will put their hope. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Remember not everyone who says to Him, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of God who is in heaven. Then He will tell the sinners plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' You heard me, heed those words and don’t take them personal am also like you – man.
