AFC Leopards have relieved deputy coach Abdalla Juma and goalkeeper trainer Washington Muhanji from their duties at the club. This was confirmed by deputy secretary general Asava Kadima. “Yes, it is true we have parted ways with the duo,” said Asava. Contacted, Muhanji said he saw it coming after their last league match. “In fact, I’m just waiting for the club to pay me my outstanding salary and allowances,” Muhanji adding that head coach Pieter De Jongh should be fired if the club is to get back to winning ways.

Real Talent Soccer Academy from Homa Bay County are all smiles after top Kenyan Premier League clubs signed some of their charges.
Academy manager Andrew Otieno confirmed to FeverPitch that their prolific striker David Onyango Magoma has been snapped up by KPL champions Gor Mahia. “Nakumatt FC has taken our defender Richard Alukwe while David Okuta has gone to Nairobi City Stars who are also in pursuit of Jairus Onyango and Fidel Castro’s signatures,” said Otieno. Meanwhile, Real Talent U-12 played to a 1-1 draw against Fisa Academy while the U-15 swept Michezo Africa FC 3-0 at Police Band ground in South B, Nairobi, yesterday.

AWARDS: Pascal voted Rangers’ best defender prize
Posta Rangers captain Pascal Ochieng’ was feted as the best defender during Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) awards gala. Ian Otieno was voted the best goalkeeper, Dennis Mukaisi (Best striker), Fredrick Ajwang (Best midfielder) and Christopher Nyamau emerged the most disciplined player. PCK Post Master General Dr Enock Kinara promised to support Rangers to succeed in the KPL 2015 season. “I want to assure you that the management will give you all the support you need. If you break your leg in the pitch, we shall treat you fully,”Kinara said.

RANGERS: GOTv runners up shortlist coaches for job
GOtv runners up Posta Rangers have shortlisted five coaches from a list of the best performing coaches during the CAF level A coaching course. The coaches, who were ranked top five during the course are former Tusker FC Sammy ‘Pamzo” Omolo who topped the course. Others are Sony Sugar coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno, Thika United’s John Kamau, Shabana technical director Gilbert Selebwa and Gor Mahia’s assistant coach Francis Ouna. Coach George Maina will deputise the new coach as he does not possess level A certificate.
