Mombasa strikes Sh600m shops deal with investors

Mombasa County has signed a memorandum of understanding with investors to put up 3,000 modern kiosks worth Sh600 million for hawkers.

The department of trade, investment, energy and industry, executive secretary Mohamed Ibrahim Abdi said the move would stop the hawking problem and ensure traders pays rates to the county.
