The social tabloids have been awash with discussions about an alleged festival in Asia. A festival that has apparently become a culture in India dating decades back in time. A blogger, probably in search of readership, posted an article about a Punjab Rape Festival in India that legitimises the rape of young women of ages seven to 16. This carnival apparently attracts the male folk in India to rape out demons from these tender souls — an exorcism ritual that seeks to sanctify girls of the evil spirit of cheating and immorality. To drive home the point, there was a gory picture of naked men with long terrifying dreadlocks from here to Timbuktu, running after something. Probably some scared maiden
