A section of Murang'a politicians has castigated President William Ruto's government over the continued involvement of various government entities in pursuing political opponents.

They claim the president has weaponized security agents, the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Ethics and Anticorruption Commission, and IPOA against opponents.
