Embu Governor Martin Wambora (pictured) has reshuffled his chief officers.
He said the changes are intended to revitalise the operations of the county government with a view to improving efficiency.
“My administration is intent on improving on service delivery. My resolve to serve the people and leave a legacy that is unstoppable,” the governor said in a press release from his communication department.

Chief Officer for Public Service, Jane Mugambi was moved to Gender, Children, Culture and Social Services while Damiano Muthee of Finance took charge of Early Childhood Development.
Mary Mercy Munene of Planning and Economic affairs will now head Infrastructure and Public Works as Michael Ngoroi takes over Land, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development.
John Mukundi picks Public Service as he drops Agriculture and Cooperative Development while Alvan Mugendi of Livestock and Fisheries takes over Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives.
Ruth Ndirangu, Albert Gatuta, Newton Mbora and Easter Mbogo will take over as Chief Officers for Finance and Planning, Water and Irrigation, Fisheries and County Public Service Board, respectively.
Jemima Nyaga will move to Youth Empowerment from Culture and Social Services while Lilian Njagi will move from Public Service Board to Culture and Social services.

Administration and Devolution Chief Officer, Muturi Wa Ireri and Fredrick Ndaire of Energy and Transport will remain in the same departments.
All the other chief officers will remain in their respective dockets.
