Limuru Tea appoints Geridina Johanna Maria Ten Den as the new CEO

Limuru Tea has appointed Geridina Johanna Maria Ten Den as the new Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment comes after the resignation of Chief Executive Officer and Director of Board Nicholas Yiannakis who in 2017, left Uniliver for the position of CEO in the company.

Geridina Johanna Maria Ten Den has 28 years of experience having worked in various institutions like Uniliver with her latest being former procurement director, Tea-Africa.

“Gerridina’s main role as the CEO and Director is to manage risk and corporate reputation by ensuring that she prepares for approval by the Board and implementing and managing the company’s risk management approach,” said the company’s statement.

The appointment will be effective as of March 1, 2019.
