At least six public schools in rural areas across Kakamega County have benefited from a Sh20 million sponsorship to upgrade their infrastructural development amid a cash crunch occasioned by delayed disbursement of capitation by the National Government.

The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Foundation is undertaking the project at Shivakala Junior and Primary School in Ikolomani Constituency and Bukhaywa Secondary School in Shinyalu Consistency.
