The corpse of a male adult was found on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, on a bench in-between Reinsurance Plaza and Kenya Cinema in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).

A bag was also found next to the dead man.

2. Boy whose vulgar video went viral gives his side of the story

A video of a young boy letting out all sorts of profanity went viral and left many parents wondering what the society had turned into.

The 13-year-old boy hurled insults at a girl only identified as Nikita.

He alleged that the girl, who happens to be in the same school with him, constantly bullies him and at one point even threatened to beat him up.

4. Passengers text 'goodbye' to loved ones as Delta plane drops 30,000ft in minutes

Panic broke out on the Delta flight from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale when the plane dropped from an altitude of 39,000 feet to 10,000 feet leaving them fearing for their lives.

Harris DeWoskin and other passengers captured the chaos which shows passengers panicking after oxygen masks dropped from their overhead compartments.

The gospel musician took to social media to support the message on the rapper’s hit Wajinga Nyinyi’ only for his comment to be pounced on by furious Kenyans online.

Many reminded him of his performances during Jubilee Party rallies.

8. King Kaka makes public the number that called him, Kenyans reveal man's identity

Rapper King Kaka revealed that he had received a call from someone who purported to be from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Speaking outside the DCI headquarters in Kiambu, King Kaka stated that his manager received a call at and the caller only identified himself as Onyancha.

He went ahead and posted the number online.

9. Man attempts to swim across Likoni channel due to ferry delay

Following a two-hour delay at the Likoni channel, one man decided to swim across the channel presumably because he was getting late.

However, his efforts were thwarted halfway by rescue divers who were on a boat.

The delay in ferry operations inconvenienced many people who needed to cross to the mainland and vice-versa as efforts to recover a vehicle that sunk at the channel were stepped up.

10. Snoop Dogg shares Pastor Ng’ang’a’s video

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr aka Snoop Dogg on Sunday evening shared a viral video of Neno Evangelism Centre founder Pastor James Ng’ang’a.

The American rapper took to his Instagram account to share a video of the evangelist driving out demons.


The rapper captioned it: “When u late on the offering money. The. Rev need his”.

In the video, Ng’ang’a is seen slapping members of his congregation in the name of casting out demons.
