An upcoming music group Krek has accused top music producer Ulopa of failing to honour a recording deal, a claim the producer refutes.

Lamenting to Pulse, the group members allege that they had paid Sh60,000 to the Ulopa Ngoma producer after he promised to produce a music track and video for them.

“He never picks our calls. When we show up for appointments, he never comes out of the studio to talk to us. We have done that more than ten times. We are almost giving up,” said Roberto, a member the group.

Ulopa admitted that he had worked with the group but denied that he has dishonoured their agreement.

“I’m always in the studio and readily accessible. I have worked with many upcoming artistes since last year. They should come to me and state their claim and if they feel they paid for something that never was, we will hear it and I will personally refund their money,” Ulopa told Pulse.
