SWIMMING: No dual citizenship for swimmers

Kenyan swimmers with dual citizenship will no longer swim for the country unless they declare their sporting nationality. A swimming stakeholders meeting attended by Kenya Swimming Federation Treasurer David Ngugi unanimously agreed that any events swum under the Federation as a national body must have Kenyan nationality.

Any swimmer holding dual nationality must declare their sporting nationality and will not be allowed to swim for two nations.
However, foreign resident swimmers may take part in any events organised by the local (County) Association and which include all the events in South Africa that Kenyan Swimmers regularly participate in.
