Earlier this month, Samsung was left red-faced after Twitter users noticed the firm posting tweets from an iPhone.

Now, the tables have turned, and Apple has been discovered tweeting from an Android.

Marques Brownlee, a video producer from New York, noticed the blunder.

He tweeted: ‘Never thought I’d see the day’, alongside a screen grab of the tweet from the Apple Music account.

The tweet was in response to Ariana Grande, and featured the dreaded words ‘via Twitter for Android.’

Several fans are loving the drama on Twitter.

One user tweeted: “It finally happened!”, while another joked: ‘Someone is getting fired.”

Mirror Online has contacted Apple for comment.
