South African firm launches risk management software

Metrix Software Solutions has launched a web-based risk-management software in East Africa to help organisations manage non-financial business indicators.

The South African-based optimisation company last week announced a partnership with Bluekey Software Solutions in rolling out IsoMetrix, an application that consolidates information scattered across an organisation in spread sheets, documents and stand-alone systems.

Metrix Director Paul Marketos said the software integrates the health, safety, environmental and quality processes in a dynamic, flexible and systematic way, thus creating an effective integrated management system solution.  The benefits of IsoMetrix software include, among others, unique sorting and searching tools to enable effective analysis as well as reporting and fast searching and viewing of records even with large data volumes.

The software also provides a full audit trail for change to all records and gives complete performance visibility through real-time reports and management dashboards.

Marketos said IsoMetrix is currently being used by 25,000 companies in 10 African countries, mainly South African. “East Africa is a growing hub and is ready for this kind of application. This software is ideal for people who want to capture data and put it into graphics,” he said. He said IsoMetrix is designed to bridge the gap between IT’s demand for centralisation, customisation and information visibility.  He said the software can assist firms in programming tasks, assigning duties and audit trail of changes to the records. It also enables secure remote access from gadgets such as iPads and laptops.
