The viral clip captured during the launch of the DCP satellite office at the Well of Worship Hall shows a high-end convoy making its way through the city streets. Leading the line is a police escort vehicle, clearing the path for a fleet of gleaming black SUVs. Three other vehicles follow in close formation: a Jeep Grand Wagoneer flanked by two Chevrolet Tahoes, with a Range Rover Sport bringing up the rear. The convoy's imposing presence, shiny, polished, and meticulously coordinated, sent a clear message of power and prestige. The Jeep Wagoneer, a recently reintroduced luxury SUV, blends upscale comfort with rugged performance. A 2025 model comes with a 3000cc twin-turbocharged engine pushing out 420 horsepower, an opulent cabin with room for up to eight passengers, and advanced tech features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system. According to Jeep's official website, it retails for over Sh11 million ($80,000), with higher trims commanding even more. The Chevrolet Tahoe, a staple in government and VIP transport circles, is equally formidable. Known for its reliability and power, the 2025 version starts at around Sh7 million ($59,000), with premium trims like the Premier or High Country costing significantly more. Both models are equipped with modern safety and driver-assist features, making them popular choices for secure mobility. Gachagua, who is currently on a two-month political tour of the United States, has consistently appeared in public flanked by a high-security detail reminiscent of head-of-state protocols. Just a day prior, also in Boston, social media users took note of his heavily armed team, complete with radio equipment and tactical communication tools. That same afternoon, Gachagua was admitted to Karen Hospital, later claiming his security was withdrawn in a bid to silence him. "It's the most unfortunate thing that has ever happened in this country; that you can be so vicious to a man who helped you to be President," he told journalists after his discharge. Though his security was eventually reinstated, the optics were memorable. He exited the hospital in a modest Toyota RAV4, worlds apart from the siren-blaring Toyota Land Cruisers often associated with his former office.
