Former MP Silvance Osele warns opponents against taking credit for his projects

Former Kabondo Kasipul MP Silvance Osele has told off politicians taking credit for development projects he initiated.

One of the projects is the tarmacking of the Kadongo-Karota road, which was impassable during the rainy season.

George Onyango, a resident, said they used to carry caskets on their heads from mortuaries whenever they lost loved ones during the rainy season.

This was orchestrated by the sticky red clay soil in the area.

Speaking during a fundraiser at Bware Kabondo SDA church in Kabondo Kasipul Constituency, Osele told residents that he is the one who lobbied for construction of the road.

“I thank the government of President William Ruto for coming to our rescue by tarmacking this road. Indeed, this road has been a serious problem to residents,” Osele said.

He claimed some opposition politicians were misleading residents that they were the ones who lobbied for the construction of the road.

"Be wary of these opposition politicians who want to reap from where they did not sow.”
