Laikipia Governor Nderitu Muriithi to chair Raila’s campaign board

Laikipia Governor, Ndiritu Muriithi has been appointed as the chairman of Raila Odinga Campaigns after accepting the board’s nomination.
The first-time governor, who won his Laikipia Governor seat as an independent candidate, is expected to bring enormous experience into Odinga's campaign planning from the private sector.
He is currently the Finance, Planning and Economic Affairs Committee chairperson of the Council of Governors (COG) since January 2021.
He has excelled in leadership and management and is believed to be resourceful in shaping Raila’s strategy to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

At the same time, Elizabeth Meyo will take up the position of Secretary to the campaign board and CEO of the Board Raila Odinga’s 2022 campaign.
Meyo is currently a consultant to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and has wide administrative and strategic experience under her belt.
She is also a former Commissioner of the Domestic Taxes Department at Kenya Revenue Authority.
