Emurwa Dikirr Member of Parliament Johana Ng'eno has lashed out at Deputy President William Ruto accusing him of playing partisan politics and sneaking into the county without informing elected leaders.
"The frequent visits by the DP to the county are welcomed but all leaders must be involved. He has portrayed himself as favouring the governor," he said.
Mr Ng'eno revisited an earlier statement the DP made on one of the TV stations where he said the MP stage-managed torching of houses in Mau by refuting it and terming it an insult to the people of Emurwa Dikirr and the county.
Ng'eno, who was accompanied by Senator Stephen Ntutu and Narok West MP Patrick Ntutu, also dismissed allegations that the alliance bringing together five MPs opposed to Governor Samuel Tunai has disintegrated.
"The alliance commonly known as the Muthaiga Five is in tact. Those praying for it's disintegration will be disappointed," he said.
