In her close shave with death, Nyamira Woman Representative Jerusha Momanyi has revealed what she told God before cheating death in a plane crash a month ago at Wilson Airport.

Momanyi said at the height of the most frightful moment of her life while aboard the Forker 5Y-IZO Silverstone aircraft, she only told God to take care of her children.

"Amid the turbulence, I knew that was the last moment in my life," she said.

For the first time, the Women Rep said she was uncomfortable boarding the plane.

Momanyi was aboard the Lam-bound plane with 49 other passengers and five crew members.

They survived the October 11 crash that left her and one other person seriously injured.

All other passengers were evacuated safely.

There were no fatalities in the crash which was blamed on mechanical problems.

Momanyi sustained injuries in her upper limbs.

Others who attended the thanksgiving ceremony were Kitutu Masaba MPSshadrack Mose, Bomachoge Borabu's Zadock Ogutu, Kitutu Masaba parliamentary aspirant Victor Swanya and a host of local MCAs and politicians.
