Nominated MCAs challenge alleged discrimination in court

Fifteen nominated MCAs who have sued the Kisii County Assembly for alleged discrimination will know their fate on March 4.

The MCAs want the court to quash amendments made by the County Assembly, which they claim has robbed them of some of their fundamental rights.

The parties in the case have filed their final submissions before Justice Fred Ochieng'.

Among those the MCAs want the court to address is the right to vote. They have also sued the County Assembly Service Board and County Assembly Speaker.
