Could Africa be the next home to the world's richest man? Perhaps, if US President Donald Trump's assertion to look into the possibility of deporting Elon Musk to Africa becomes a reality. Before departing the White House for a visit to an immigration detention facility on Tuesday, Trump was asked by reporters if he would consider deporting Musk back to South Africa for his continued opposition to the president's current tax legislation. The bill aims to strengthen border security by allocating over $100 billion to immigration, deportation operations, and new border facilities. Trump says it will cut wasteful spending. The president stated that "without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa." Tesla's stock has been on a downward trend in recent times following the spat between the two men. Musk promised to create a new political party to rival the two dominant parties, the Republican and Democratic parties, vowing to campaign for the removal of those who have voted for the bill that he said would raise the debt ceiling by five trillion dollars.
