Over 500 youth will benefit from an innovative entrepreneurship programme by YMCA Africa.

The programme will take them through training on entrepreneurship, business plan writing, Information Communications and Technology, soft skills relevant in the job market and business communication.

Speaking during a graduation for the first group of graduates, Citi Bank’s Public Affairs Officer for East Africa Maryanne Mwaura noted that the programme will increase their chances of being business owners.

Kenya YMCA National General Secretary Jared Musima, said the programme is critical at this time when most youth are unemployed.

“This model can be replicated in the counties to enable young people move from despondency to job creators,” said Musima.
