NAIROBI: The Government plans to set up a standalone ICT sector to create more jobs for the youth, Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru has said. In a speech read on his behalf by Principal Secretary Sammy Itemere, Mr Mucheru noted that the National ICT Masterplan 2013-18 recognised that the development of a quality ICT human resource would improve services.  “We are doing our best to have a system of tertiary education to empower the youth with the vocational skills,” said Mucheru.
