Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki has unveiled the Kenyatta University Hospital Board chaired by Prof Olive Mugenda (left) in Nairobi.

Kariuki called for cooperation from stakeholders to help the state-of-the-art facility achieve its objective of providing quality healthcare. 

Andrew Toro will serve as acting Chief Executive Officer.

Other members will be Charles Nzioka (Research), Simon Kipchirchir (Standards and Quality Assurance Policy and Regulation) and Pacifica Kerubo (Medical services).

Benson Kariuki will be in charge of Curatives and Rehabilitation Health Services, Patrick Omwanda (Department of Health), Dr Jackson Kioko (acting Chief Executive Officer for the Kenya Health Professionals Oversight Authority) and Anne Wamae (acting General CEO for the Kenya Human Resource Advisory Council).

Hashim Osman Warfa will head the Health sector coordination and Inter-governmental Affairs section.
