The Government in conjunction with various partners will this year distribute over 15 million long-lasting treated mosquito nets to combat the spread of malaria.

Health Cabinet Secretary Cleopa Maillu in a speech delivered by Director of Medical Services Jackson Kioko to mark this year’s World Malaria Day said the nets would be distributed to expected mothers, children under five years and other vulnerable groups in 23 malaria-prone counties.
