Kenya’s Hasnain Noorani has been named one of Africa’s 30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs by Forbes. The business magazine described Noraani, who is the chief executive officer of Pride Group, as one of the under-30 entrepreneurs who have successfully built million-dollar businesses.

Noraani was picked last month from a list of 800 nominees for this year’s tally of Africa’s Brightest Young Entrepreneurs Under 30. The investor is the founder of Pride Group, which consists of eight companies among them Prideinn Hotels.

He joined Prideinn Hotels in July 2005 and has overseen their growth in Mombasa and Nairobi. Forbes said there is a rising number of young Africans building fast-growing companies in different sectors.
