More than 1,500 farm machinery manufacturers are showcasing their latest innovations during the 45th edition of EIMA International in Bologna, Italy. The trade exhibition that runs from 9-13 November returns after the Covid-19 pandemic which hit foreign travel for the last two years.
Some 480 manufacturers from 40 countries are exhibiting at the event, which is also being attended by visitors. At an opening press briefing, Simona Rapastella, general manager of FederUnacoma, the Italian association of agricultural machinery manufacturers, said the event covers a total of 128, 000 square metres, 8,000 of which are located outside, in the exhibition halls. The highlights include the Tractor of the Year finalists' show, demonstration tests of gardening and green maintenance vehicles, and those of machines for the bio-energy chain, as well as skill tests reserved for contractors.
