Nice Githinji quits Kenya Actors Guild committee, Melissa Kiplagat takes position

Award-winning actress Nice Githinji has officially resigned from her position as the Kenya Actors Guild (KAG) Committee Member in charge of Capacity Building and Programs, marking the end of a brief tenure.

Githinji, who was elected to the role on October 19, 2024, tendered her resignation on June 23, 2025. Her exit, the Guild has confirmed, was prompted by "personal and moral convictions".
