Two women have been arrested in Thika, Kiambu County after they were suspected of stupefying a man at VSpot Nightlife, as reported by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The incident marks the resurgence of 'Pishori babes,' who are known for their involvement in criminal activities under the cover of night.

The club's supervisor first noticed the suspects when they were seen forcibly dragging a frequent, visibly intoxicated customer towards his Toyota Crown.

Initially worried about the potential for drunk driving, the supervisor's attention was quickly drawn to a more alarming act.

According to the DCI, "one of the women [was seen] spraying something on her breasts before she pulled the helpless male to 'breastfeed'." It was after this act that the victim lost consciousness.

The quick response of the club's staff prevented the women from fleeing with the victim's ATM cards and personal documents.

Police officers from Thika station arrived at the scene, finding the unconscious man in his vehicle alongside a bottle of alcohol with a suspicious white precipitate at the base and additional tablets of an unidentified drug in possession of the women.

The suspects are currently detained, with the evidence forwarded to the government chemist for analysis. The victim received medical attention at a local hospital.

The DCI has issued a warning to club-goers, particularly men, about the dangers of encountering such criminals.

"In some unfortunate incidences, victims of stupefying have lost their lives after being heavily drugged, hence the need to exercise caution and always party around known friends who would have your back in case of such danger,” said DCI.
