How many times have you pondered on starting your own venture, save the capital and look for a good location before again giving up thinking that you will not succeed, and you could end up losing money?

Well, the business journey to success is a rough and difficult one. You need all the strength you can come up with to work through that path, fall, rise again and keep your eyes fixed to the prize.

Today, we have an entrepreneur who has walked through that path. Catherine Mumbua.

When she started, she was unlucky to meet unscrupulous companies that took advantage of her good business nature. She fell not one but two times.

But her resilience has seen her create a big brand, Genesis, that is revolutionizing how young girls access sanitary pads. Whatever venture you put your mind to, do not give up.

This is your life; shape it, or someone else will. I am often reminded of the great American boxer Mohammed Ali when it comes to the power of resilience. In his entire boxing career, he faced formidable opponents. Bigger, faster and stronger and many people would write him off. But he would never give up and rose to be the greatest boxer of his era.

Strength shows not only in the ability to hold on, but in the ability to start over when you must. It is never too late to become what you might have been.

Keep learning, adapting, and growing. You may not be there yet, but you are closer than you were yesterday.
