Kuria ordered to leave BBI rally minutes after arriving

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was ejected from Kitui Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rally for allegedly insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta.

A few minutes after arriving at the Kitui Stadium in the company of Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, host Governor Charity Ngilu was heard telling security team and youths to eject the controversial MP from the podium.

"Let him be removed, let him go, No one abuses President Uhuru is allowed here,” Ngilu shouted as the MP was pushed from the podium.

The function was disrupted temproarily as youths shouted at the MP ordering him to go insult President Uhuru in Gatundu and not Ukambani.

"Let him go to Gatundu and abuse peopl, this is Ukambani," youths shouted as the MP left the podium amid pushing.

There was commotion at the podium after Murkomen, Kuria and other Tangatanga leaders arrived at the function, before Ngilu ordered for the removal of the Gatundu South legislator.

The MP later returned at the dais following intervention by leaders and a section of the crowd.
